Wow guys, 2 years! We have been doing this for so long you think I would have it down pat, right? Haha well, in reality, I am always learning. As we look back to some of our favorite product reviews, I want to say that when I started The Chesnut Mutts it was partly because I was out of school and work because of migraines and now I am back in the workforce, volunteering for a local animal rescue, doing The Chesnut Mutts, and also my other blog Healing Whiskers. I have a lot of hats and migraines are still in my life but they are not a huge factor anymore.
I am so thankful for that and I am SUPER thankful for all of you! Your comments and such keep me going, and I know it has been slow this past month, but we are still here ;).

I also love reading product reviews because the help me decide which new products I should buy for my pups, Nala and Cody. They love getting new toys and treat so knowing what I would try next is super helpful.

ReplyDeletei prefer dogs over cats. always have, dont know why. we had cats at the barn and i like them. i guess i just feel more connected to dogs and seems like you can do more with dogs, running, going to dog events, playing outside. they just seem to be more connected. cats just seem more fickle. i see some cats that i would love to have though. some are so beautiful.
ReplyDeletemy youngest plays with toys a lot. i have lots of toys, she is very destructive though. my oldest used to play but she is elderly now, has a little dementia and has terminal cancer. the middle child will play with toys sometimes but not much.

ReplyDeletemy 3 gals favorite activities are hugging and kissing me. Evie used to love to play ball, any size, type, etc. she loved to play kickball, soccer, she also loved Frisbees. the youngest loves toys, loves for me to though them and she retrieves them. the middle child just loves to run and play toe tag with me. i touch one toe then the other and she takes off running in circles, jumping from side to side as i touch one toe then the other.

ReplyDeleteWe have a Jack Russell that we rescued. She is a handful and a treat loving girl lol. I also have my kitten Josie who I rescued. She was a feral kitten about 6 weeks old all on her own under a house. Never found where she came from but she is the sweetest. Really nice blog you have here and will have to go through it a lot more.

My dogs favorite activity is pretty much anything they're doing with me, though they both love any type of training and sports. Shiloh loves agility the best, while Wager really likes nosework. They both LOVE toys, especially Shiloh. Shiloh will be 7 in February, and Wager will be 3 in January. While I like cats too, I'm definitely a dog person first. Shiloh gets kibble, Wager gets a mixture of kibble and wet. I can't/won't do raw for a variety of reasons (though it intrigues me, it is not for me). I'd be very interested in trying dehydrated as that would take care of most of the problems I have with raw, but I don't think I could afford it. Shiloh and Wager (dogs) are my only two pets. I like seeing toys and treats reviewed the best, along with fitness equipment. Dog-related human items would be nice, too (gifts, clothing, etc).
