A whole month has passed and Jada has been on Stella & Chewy's freeze-dried raw beef patties for all of June. With our first post, we talked a lot about the ingredients and an overall look of this dog food.
Now saying that she loves this food is an understatement. Just see for yourself how breakfast time has been this past month:
As you may know, we were at BlogPaws for part of the month and all the way in Phoenix, Arizona. This food was so great to travel with (I did have to lock my backpack with a shower hook so Jada couldn't sneak food while I wasn't looking) because I was able to feed her quality nutrition on the go. Every hotel room has water so rehydrating was simple.

Jada's fur has been super shiny thanks to this food. We went down a tad on the serving size since she was pudging up, but once we got to BlogPaws she had quite a waist on her. I haven't weighed her yet, but she is right where she needs to be since she packs it on so easily.
Hopping for food |
I can't say much about her output (poops) because she free roams at home and during the trip her poops were not ideal, but it was probably just because of stress. Her allergies really didn't change either, but that would be a miracle if they did. We will be starting her on a daily medicine to help since she has taken the max amount of steroid shots this year. But hey, it is really helpful to know that even if I feed a food that she is supposedly not supposed to have any allergic reaction to that she is still itchy probably due to environmental factors.
So would we recommend this Stella & Chewy's Freeze-Dried Patties? Of course! If you are looking for a high-quality and easy to prepare meal for your dog then this would be a brand I would try with your pup.
We want to thank Chewy.com for sending us the food to try out for a month!
