Mini Review & Auction: BarkWorld 2015

This past weekend I attended my first BarkWorld in Atlanta, Georgia! It was a lot of fun and my dad, Jada, and Bailey attended. There were many great brands there and we wanted to share them with you in this swag review, aka lots of pictures of stuff on Jada's head. Full Moon - Chicken Jerky: Skin and Coat Health

You guys know I love Full Moon! These are irresistible jerky treats made in the U.S.A. that help your pup's skin and coat. You can read a review I did of another Full Moon Chicken Jerky product here.

Stretch & Scratch

This is a cardboard cat scratcher that you can attach to a crate or cage via twist ties. This is a great idea for cats in shelters as this gives them something to do and helps their claws.

Looking through this book, I found lots of great information on how to train your cat with the help of a clicker! Really cool.

Shipoopi doesn't seem to mind it and drinks it all. I am wondering if it is safe for dogs to drink as well since I have multiple animals drinking out of the same bowl.

Updated response from Tomlyn: "With regards to your question about dogs drinking your cat's Pre & Probiotics, we have a dog version that is 8 billion CFUs (cat is 4 billion) so it is safe for dogs."

Chews Happiness

We learned about a great brand who is premiering in March 2016 called Chews Happiness! They will be selling yak milk-based chews and dog sweaters.

I have used this product before on my dogs and rats. Even at Barkworld I used it because Bailey had some hot spots. By the time I left the event it had already started to heal. Highly recommended.

Ok ingredients. Dottie ate one without any hesitation (but she does that with a lot of other things as well so it is hard to tell)

Absorbine - ShowSheen Woof Pouf

We really love these treats since the first time we tried them at Blogpaws this year. Only three ingredients and both Jada and Bailey eat them up like crazy!

TLC Pet Food - Whole Life Health Biscuits

"Glucosamine and Chondroitin for strong hips and joints"

I like the joint support and the girls seemed to like them!

Tropiclean Dental Chews - Fresh Breath Plus with Flaxseed 

"Fresh breath dental chews plus advanced cleaning system. Made in the U.S.A. No ingredients from China. Small bone: 8-25 lbs. Ingredients: Potato starch, tapioca starch, vegetable glycerin, etc."

I like the idea behind these but do wish they would last longer. Would be fine for those dogs who are gentle with their food. Haha.

Evanger's Superfood - Hi Bio: Beef

I love the ingredients in this food! The mutts seem to like it was well and this can be used as a meaty treat as well.

Stella and Chewy's - Chewy's Chicken Meal Mixers

"An easy and convenient way to mix raw" Love these dehydrated chicken meal mixers! The girls love this product and the ingredients are wonderful.

Halo - Vigor for dogs: Turkey, chicken, and salmon recipe

"Made in the U.S.A." Ingredients: Turkey, chicken, peas, pea protein, egg...

Good ingredients!

Halo Spot's Stew - adult dog food formula: Wholesome Chicken Recipe

Ingredients: Chicken, eggs, pea protein, oats, vegetable broth...

Good ingredients as well!

Lucky Puppy Magazine

This magazine focuses on rescue and bringing that "lucky puppy" into your family. Lucky Puppy is in the Dogster family and will live online and in print for 2016. Seems like a great magazine!

Pet Pages Atlanta

This is actually a directory for pet related business and events around Atlanta. "Available at Pet Pages Atlanta partners, select Whole Foods and Publix, pet friendly events, and hundreds of pet friendly establishments"

Love the idea and found it pretty useful! Love that I can find pet friendly establishments.

Dogster Magazine

This is the magazine of the ever popular Dogster.com. I really love the articles- they are informative and enjoyable!

Pizazzz Promotions

We were given a very nice leather drink coaster from Pizazzz Promotions. Looks like they have a lot of great promotional products on their site.

SleekEZ Grooming Blade

"For cats, dogs, horses, etc." The blade isn't very sharp at all and helps remove hair. Can also be used on furniture to collect loose hair. Very neat product and I love the wood handle!

Canine Cupcakes in a Jar - Banana-Pumpkin Pawty in a jar

"Ingredients: Whole wheat flour, banana, pure pumpkin, honey...Made with all natural ingredients, besides artificial food coloring. Refrigerate after opening."

This is a really cool product that smells wonderful. I took one jar and divided it between 3 small dogs as a treat. These cupcakes in a jar are a soon to be released product and I think it would be a great gift for the dogs on your Christmas list!

 Project Blue Collar

Project Blue Collar is a global movement celebrating rescue dogs. These blue collars are conversation starters and gets other people interested in rescue. PBC also gives back to rescues! I think this is a cool cause and can really help get the world out about all the awesome rescue dogs out there.

Easy to replace rawhide rings by unscrewing it and comes with 3 rings. Jada really enjoyed it and it is great for dogs to walk around with and nudge it around the floor. The rawhide stunk really bad- not sure if that is a good or bad thing, but Jada did not get sick so that's good.

Aspen Pet
Max Glow Adjustable Collar (Medium 10-16 in) & Max Glow Leash (Small 6 ft)

"Expose collar/leash to a bright light source for at least 15 minutes. Made in China"

Very cute colors, although they do not glow too brightly. Could be useful though.

Lucy Pet Products - Purple Rain: Calm and Clean Lavender Shampoo for Dogs

"Contains natural lavender, cruelty free, Part of the proceeds from the sale of this product will go to help fund the Lucy Pet Foundation."

Love the smell of this shampoo! It is like sophisticated baby shampoo, haha. The recyclable aluminum bottle and pump are just great. The schnauzers were super soft afterwards as well.

Isabella's Pet Shop - Flower Bows

Isabella is 10 years old and is making flower bows, bow ties, and bow-tiki bows for dogs. These are $20 each, but part of the proceeds go towards an animal rescue.

These are really cute fabric flower bows that attach by a velcro loop. I think it would be a great accessory for any dog going out on the town!
